Panini Celebrates Jannik Sinner’s No. 1 Ranking

Panini, the renowned collectibles company, is joining in on the celebration of Jannik Sinner’s phenomenal rise to the top of the ATP world rankings. From Modena, Italy, on June 10, 2024, Panini unveiled a special collaboration with Sinner, marking this momentous occasion as he secures the coveted title of World No. 1 in tennis, a first for an Italian player. The partnership promises an exciting array of collectibles, ranging from trading cards and autographed memorabilia to game gear and digital collections, all paying tribute to Sinner’s remarkable career.

The journey between Panini and Sinner commenced in 2022 with the release of the book “Piccoli grandi campioni – Manuale illustrato del tennis di Jannik Sinner” (Young Great Champions – Jannik Sinner’s Illustrated Tennis Manual) by Panini Comics. This publication offers valuable insights into tennis techniques while sharing anecdotes from Sinner’s early years in the sport. Another standout moment from their collaboration was the playful depiction of Sinner as a charming duck avatar named “Quacknik Spinner” featured on the cover of the Topolino magazine, produced by Panini Comics in May 2024.

In light of this exciting partnership, Sinner expressed his joy, fondly recalling his childhood memories of collecting Panini stickers and enjoying their comics. He eagerly anticipates the chance to engage with his fans in a meaningful and personalized manner through the diverse range of Panini products being introduced.

The inaugural product to be released under this collaborative effort is the Panini Instant trading card, commemorating Sinner’s remarkable achievement of reaching the pinnacle of the ATP rankings. This exclusive card will be available solely on the Panini America platform. Following this debut, Panini has outlined plans for a series of trading card collections dedicated to Sinner, encompassing rare memorabilia and limited-edition cards, which will be accessible worldwide through Panini’s e-commerce channels and select retail locations.

With this groundbreaking announcement, Panini sets the stage for an extensive lineup of releases slated for 2024 and beyond, as part of the ongoing partnership between the esteemed collectibles company and the talented Jannik Sinner. Join the celebration and get ready to collect and cherish these unique pieces honoring Sinner’s extraordinary achievements in the world of tennis.
